Rejoice in God, our helper; shout aloud to the God of Jacob.
Take up a psalm and give a tambourine, a pleasant harp with lyres.
Blow the trumpet at the new moon, on the marked day of our feast.
For it is a statute for Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob
He set it as a testimony in Joseph, when he went out from the land of Egypt; he heard a language he did not know.
He turned away his back from burdens; his hands served in the basket.
In distress you called upon me, and I rescued you; I heard you in the secret place of a storm, I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah
Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me.
There shall not be in you a new god, nor shall you worship a foreign god.
For I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt; open wide your mouth, and I will fill it.
And my people did not hear my voice, and Israel did not pay attention to me.
And I sent them away according to the devices of their hearts; they shall walk in their devices.
If my people had listened to me, Israel, if they had walked in my ways,
In nothing I would have humbled their enemies, and against those oppressing them I would have laid my hand
The enemies of the Lord lied to him, and their time will be forever
And he fed them with the fat of wheat, and from a rock he satisfied them with honey
