When I heal Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim and the evil of Samaria will be revealed, because they have worked falsehood; and a thief will enter in to him, stripping; a robber on his way.

that they may sing together as singing with their heart, all their evils I remembered; now their plots have surrounded them; before my face they have come to be

With their evils they gladdened kings, and with their lies, rulers.

All of them are committing adultery, like a burning oven for baking, from the flame, from the kneading of fat until it is leavened.

The days of your kings began; the rulers were enraged from wine; he stretched out his hand with pestilences

For their hearts were burned like a furnace while he is casting them down; all the night Ephraim was filled with sleep; in the morning it became burned like the glow of fire.

All of them became hot like an oven and they devoured their judges; all their kings fell, there was none calling upon me among them.

Ephraim among his peoples was mingled; Ephraim became a cake not turned over.

Strangers have eaten up his strength, and he himself did not know it; and gray hairs have sprouted for him, and he himself did not know it.

And the pride of Israel shall be humbled before his face, and they did not return to the Lord their God, and they did not seek him in all these things.

And Ephraim was like a senseless dove, having no heart; they called upon Egypt, and they went to the Assyrians.

As they go, I will cast my net upon them; as the birds of heaven, I will bring them down. I will chastise them by the hearing of their affliction.

Woe to them, because they have leaped away from me; they are miserable, because they have acted impiously against me. But I redeemed them, and they spoke lies against me.

And their hearts did not cry out to me, but they wailed on their beds; over grain and wine they cut themselves; they were disciplined in me

And I strengthened their arms, yet they devised evil against me

They turned aside into nothing; they became like a stretched bow. Their rulers shall fall by the sword, because of the lack of training of their tongue. This is their contempt in the land of Egypt.
