6
And Debbora sent and called Barak son of Abineem out of Kedesh of Naphtali and said to him, Did not the Lord God of Israel command you? And you shall go to Mount Tabor and take with yourself ten thousand men from the sons of Naphtali and from the sons of Zebulun.
8
And Barak said to her, If you go with me, I will go; and if you do not go with me, I will not go, because I do not know the day on which the Lord prospers the angel with me.
9
And Deborah said to him, Going I will go with you, except know that your precedence will not be on the way on which you are going, because into the hand of a woman the Lord will deliver Sisera. And Deborah rose up and went with Barak to Kedesh.
14
And Debbora said to Barak, Rise up, because this is the day on which the Lord has given Sisara into your hand; behold, will not the Lord go out before you? And Barak went down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
15
And the Lord routed Sisara and all his chariots and all his camp by the edge of the sword before Barak, and Sisara got down from his chariot and fled on his feet.
18
And Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me; do not fear. And he turned aside to her into the tent, and she covered him with her skin.
20
And he said to her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, if anyone comes to you and asks you and says to you, Is a man here? then you shall say, There is not. And she covered him with her skin cover.
21
And Jael the wife of Heber took the tent peg and put the hammer in her hand, and she went in to him quietly and drove the peg into his jaw and into the ground, and he writhed between her knees, and he breathed out and died.
22
And behold, Barak was pursuing Sisara, and Iael went out to meet him and said to him, Come, and I will show you the man whom you are seeking. And he went in to her, and behold, Sisara had fallen dead, and the tent-peg was in his jaw.
