A good name is more desirable than much wealth, and good favor rather than silver and gold.

The rich and the poor met together; but the Lord made both of them.
A shrewd man, seeing a wicked man being punished severely, is himself disciplined, but the foolish, passing by, were harmed.
The reward of humility is fear of the Lord, and riches and glory and life.
Thorns and snares are in crooked ways, but the one who guards his own soul will keep away from them.
The rich will rule over the poor, and servants will lend to their own masters.
He who sows worthless things will reap evils, and he will complete the blow of his works.
He who shows mercy to the poor will himself be nourished, for he has given of his own bread to the poor.
Cast out the pestilent man from the council, and strife will go out with him; for when he sits in the council, he dishonors all.
The Lord loves pure hearts, and all blameless in lips are acceptable to him; the king shepherds them.
The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, but a lawless man despises words.
The sluggard says: There is a lion in the roads, and in the streets are murderers.
The mouth of a lawless man is a deep pit, but one who is hated by the Lord will fall into it.
Folly is bound up in the heart of a young man, but a rod and discipline are far from him.
He who oppresses the poor for many things does his own things, but gives to the rich at less.
Incline your ear to the words of the wise, and hear my word; and set your heart, so that you may know that they are good.
and if you put them into your heart, they will gladden you together upon your lips
so that your hope may be in the Lord, and he may make known to you his way
And you also, write them for yourself threefold, for counsel and knowledge, on the breadth of your heart
Therefore I teach you true word and good knowledge, to obey in order to answer words of truth to those who put them before you
Do not oppress the poor, for he is poor, and do not dishonor the weak at the gates
For the Lord will judge his cause and will deliver your undefended soul
Do not be a companion to a wrathful man, and do not associate with an angry man.
lest you learn his ways and take snares for your soul
Do not give yourself as surety, being ashamed of a face.
For if you do not have from where you may repay, they will take your bed from under your ribs.
Do not move ancient boundaries which your fathers set.
Do you see a man skilled in his works? He must stand before kings, and not stand before sluggish men.
